Netzwerkbahn Sachsen GmbH, a young, nationwide railway transport company based in Dresden, is actively seeking full-time Train Conductors (w/m/d) for its locations in Stuttgart, Frankfurt am Main, Erfurt, and Berlin. As a future-proof and growing company, Netzwerkbahn Sachsen offers a varied and secure work environment.
What You'll Do
- Support the train driver in the safe preparation and execution of train journeys
- Perform duties as a shunting assistant
- Act as a contact person for passengers on the train
- Conduct ticket inspections
- Prepare documents for journeys (wagon list, brake slip)
- Manage train formation and ensure operational safety in accordance with valid regulations (wagon technical inspection)
- Perform brake tests
- Provide customer advice and support on board
- Take responsibility for order and safety on the trains
What You'll Need
- Completed training as a Train Conductor (Zf) including brake test authorization and SRK Leader training component
- Fitness for duty according to TfV (Train Driver Ordinance)
- Interest and experience in the railway sector
- Flexibility, willingness to travel and be deployed, and team-oriented action
- Willingness to work in shifts, nights, and on weekends, as well as readiness for overnight stays away from home
- Customer-oriented and well-groomed appearance
- Fluent German language skills, English language skills advantageous
- Willingness to undergo further training
- Enjoy interacting with people
