Bolt, one of Europe and Africa's fastest-growing tech companies, is seeking a motivated and hands-on Scooters Mechanic to ensure the highest quality and safety of its e-scooter fleet. In this critical role, you will be responsible for quickly identifying, fixing, and performing thorough safety tests on e-scooters, ensuring every ride is safe, reliable, and contributes to a top-notch customer experience.

What You'll Do

Conduct general repair work and check-ups to ensure the highest quality for e-scooters.
Inspect e-scooters in use and diagnose problems within various product components.
Test e-scooters rigorously before release to uphold quality and safety standards.
Prepare new e-scooters for service, including unpacking, quality checks, equipment installation, safety assurance, and troubleshooting.
Assist with broader warehouse operations, including inventory and battery management, shipments, and general housekeeping.

What You'll Need

Demonstrated high level of attentiveness and accuracy in work.
Proficiency in operating various hand and power tools.
Proactive approach and willingness to take ownership of challenges in a hands-on capacity.
Experience in repairing mechanical devices, particularly in automotive or electronic repair fields.
Solid local language skills and experience using smartphones.
English language skills and a forklift license are considered advantageous.
