Description

Bolt is seeking a motivated and hands-on Fleet Operations Driver to join our team. This role involves deploying and maintaining our e-scooters across the city, ensuring they are readily available, charged, and safe for our users. As part of one of Europe and Africa's fastest-growing tech companies, you'll contribute to our mission of making cities more people-centric by managing our fleet's operational needs.

What You'll Do

  • Driving company vans to collect, deploy, and swap batteries for e-scooters.
  • Ensuring e-scooters are parked neatly and do not obstruct streets or sidewalks.
  • Locating and retrieving lost e-scooters, assessing their condition, and returning them to the warehouse or redeploying them.
  • Performing minor on-the-street repairs to maximize fleet availability.
  • Providing general support to the Operations team within the warehouse as needed.

What You'll Need

  • Possess a valid EU B driving license.
  • Proficient in operating manual transmission vehicles.
  • Skilled and trustworthy driver with excellent knowledge of the local area and a commitment to safe driving practices.
  • Proactive attitude with a willingness to take ownership and a hands-on approach to tasks.
  • Solid local language proficiency.
  • Experience using smartphones and basic mechanical tools.
  • English language skills are considered an advantage.
